Election results

Thanks to voters and supporters! I believe the cause of municipal modernisation has moved forward. Hopefully with the new team of Deputies and a Council of Ministers that listens and consults more with Saint Helier, we will achieve progress in delivering efficient and effective administration with results that improve quality of life.

Digital Hustings

What digital initiatives and technology would you like introduced at parish level?

Transport

We need a walkable and cyclable community, and long-awaited safe routes to schools should be a priority. We need a Town bus service to link car parks, the markets, the new hospital and residential areas. Planning approval has been given to dense residential developments with low levels of car parking; peripheral car parks should be planned to enable sufficient parking for residents and commuters and to enable the greening of streets with more room for trees, bus stops, cycle routes, and play streets.

Air quality in Town is currently a problem. Electric vehicles will be part of the answer, but the infrastructure needs to be in place: providing offstreet parking and charging will avoid cluttering streets.
